DESSERT: Caramelized Figs with Balsamic
12 small firm-ripe fresh Figs, trimmed and halved lengthwise
3 Tbsp. light Brown Sugar, forced through a sieve
1 pint Vanilla Ice Cream
1-2 Tbsp. Grapes & Olives On Tap Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
Preheat broiler. Arrange figs, cut side up on large shallow baking pan. Sprinkle sugar evenly over figs and broil 2 to 3 inches from heat, until most of the sugar is melted and deep golden in places, about 3 to 5 minutes. Immediately serve figs over ice cream, drizzled with Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar.
