Pecan Bread with Pecan Praline Balsamic

“Hello GO friends. I know it is so hot and turning on the oven isn’t on your list, but I wanted to make a few quick breads. It’s been rainy here and I decided it would be the best time to try a few new recipes and share. This was supposed to be a Maple Poppy Seed loaf, but I had no poppy seeds. Instead, I toasted pecans in a little butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I used real maple syrup, as called for, but it didn’t have enough flavor, so I added GO-On Tap blood orange oo (just a little pour), and GO-On Tap Pecan Praline balsamic (just a pour). Once baked, I made a glaze of powdered sugar, more pecan balsamic and a splash of almond milk. I changed the recipe – and it worked. The light orange and nutty pecan flavors, and texture are perfect. I used the recipe from ‘100 Morning Treats’, by Sarah Kieffer.”
